The growth strategy of agricultural expert Arvesta is aimed at increasing focus, simplification and specialisation. In line with this, the company has decided to further professionalise and outsource the transport activities of its animal feed division. Following in-depth market research, Arvesta has chosen AB Texel Group to take over these activities as well as Arvesta's drivers (25) and trucks (30). The transport activities are those carried out by Arvesta itself; the transport that has already been outsourced to other businesses will remain unchanged.

Dirk Van Thielen, Business Unit Director Animal Nutrition at Arvesta: "The collaboration with AB Texel Group will enable us to continue to provide even better service and continuity to our clients. Our drivers are valued contacts for our clients, so they will also make the move to AB Texel Group. It’s important to us that they continue to be trusted contacts for our clients going forward. We’ll do everything in our power to ensure that the transition goes smoothly."

Tom De Lange, Director of AB Texel Belgium: "We are delighted to have the opportunity to put our expertise to work for Arvesta. The collaboration with Arvesta will strengthen our animal feed activities in Belgium, and our group of drivers will be boosted by the addition of very experienced colleagues. We extend a warm welcome to them. At AB Texel Feed Belgium we are committed to providing excellent service to Arvesta and to continuing to develop the partnership. To this end, we will be investing in various areas – including in new equipment – in the coming years."
