As of 1 September, AB Transport Group has taken over DML B.V.'s transport, transshipment and storage activities. AB Transport Group has strengthened its seed transport network with the acquisition.
DML specialises in seed transport, storage and transshipment. The company from Wehe-den Hoorn has a fleet of 10 tautliners and 7,000m2 of storage space. "The acquisition of DML means that AB Transport Group can further optimise its services in this specific market," said Dennis Wetenkamp, director of AB Transport Group. "The acquisition furthers our ambition to develop into the most respected logistics service provider in the agri and food chains."
DML was founded in October 1997. The company has a fleet of 10 tautliners and works with experienced drivers who have the knowledge and experience required for optimal agricultural product transport. In addition to transport, DML offers 7000 m2 of storage space. The distribution centre in Wehe-den Hoorn is divided into six compartments, allowing products such as seed potatoes, potato granules and grain to be stored separately. Three compartments are equipped with mechanical cooling for seed potato storage. There is also a bagging hall, a grain storage hall and a loading hall.
